I have always had a deep appreciation for our community and the connections that I have built here. After graduating from BHS, I embarked on a rewarding journey in the world of sales and marketing where I've spent over 2 decades honing my skills and building lasting relationships. Now, as I join the esteemed 1851 Properties team, I couldn't be more excited to contribute my expertise and passion the this dynamic group where we will strive to redefine excellence in the real estate industry.

Cari Goeke leads buyers and sellers to tremendous success with her two decades of real estate experience and genuine passion for helping people. As the owner and founder of Southern District Sotheby's International Realty, she specializes in large land, farm, ranch and luxury properties throughout the Texas Triangle. Cari is particularly talented at serving the unique needs of Houston's second-home buyers.Real estate has been a part of Cari's life since childhood when she watched her grandfather build homes from the ground up and manage a successful investment portfolio. She first launched her own real estate career in the title industry while still enrolled in college. Cari worked her way up to running her own branch, and she considers the knowledge she gained throughout her time as an escrow officer to be instrumental to her success as a sales agent. Today, she's a consistent top producer and ranks 158th out of the more than 130,000 agents in the state.A native Texan and 15-year Brenham resident, Cari truly believes in living the lifestyle she sells. After growing up in Bellville, graduating from Bellville High School and attending college, she and husband Steve made Bellville their home. Together, they have raised two great adult children, Jordan and Brady. After a 22 year career teaching, she fell in love with her second career in real estate. Kim's knowledge of Austin County and the surrounding area, along with an extensive network of community people give her the edge when assisting buyers and sellers. Kim and husband Steve purchased Bill Johnson and Associates Real Estate Company in February 2016 and will continue to operate the company under the same name. Former owner and friend, Bill Johnson, will remain the acting broker and continue to sell real estate.

Ian Bader was born and raised in Austin County and has Texas roots that start with Stephen F. Austin's "Old 300" settlers. He attended Bellville schools and graduated from Texas A&M University in 1975. His business career began with the local radio station as news reporter. He later joined the Bellville Abstract Company as clerk and escrow officer. In 1978 he entered banking with the Austin County State Bank and also became licensed to sell real estate under the Bill Johnson & Associates Real Estate Company. Ian moved to First Savings Association of Brenham in 1983, serving as the Bellville Branch Manager. First Savings was later purchased by Guaranty Bank in 1990 and Ian remained as manager until retiring in 2004. He also was a licensed securities representative for Guaranty Brokerage. Ian is a licensed broker and holds the prestigious GRI designation from the Realtor's Graduate Institute, and Certified International Property Specialist designation from the Realtor University. He also served on the Board of Directors of the South Central Board of Realtors over 10 years. Bader's long term experience, education, market knowledge, personal commitment to professionalism, and service to the community make him uniquely qualified to market your real estate. Ian Bader has been active in numerous community activities, serving as President of the Bellville Lions Club, Bellville Chamber of Commerce, and Bellville Library Board. He has been involved in the Austin County Veterans' Monument Board, Bellville Parks Board, LCRA Leadership Program, Texas Scholars Program, Bellville Historical Society, Bellville Little League, Bellville Youth Soccer, Bellville ISD Long-Range Planning Committee, Austin County Texas Agri-Life Extension Service committies, and many other civic activities.
